Our Materials
We always keep our carbon footprint, the environment, workers, animals and our end consumer in mind when selecting our materials.
Organic cotton
The vast majority of our fabrics and materials are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) certified organic cotton. From our dust bags and zippers to our elastics. We use organic cotton since traditional cotton is one of the most harmful plantations in the world due to the large amount of water it consumes and the pesticides it needs.
Nopal Skin
Our alternative to animal skin. Nopal Skin Manufactured by the Mexican company DESSERTO . It is made with "Nopal" cactus on the top and has a recycled cotton back. This product is backed by certifications like USDA Organic, PETA, Vegan, Global Recycle Standards, and more.
Elastic in Organic Cotton and Natural Rubber
An Eco Friendly, natural and completely biodegradable product. The Hevea tree (rubber tree) is a sustainable crop as it helps maintain a carbon balance in the atmosphere. In addition, the same tree can be harvested continuously for up to 25 years.
Water Based Glue
The glue we use is water based. Free of harmful chemical and toxic solvents. In this way we protect the environment, in case the product is discarded, the workers who handle it and the client who comes into indirect contact with it.
Skin Scraps
The leather we use comes from scraps left over from past collections. By the time these materials are exhausted we will be a completely vegan brand, free of animal material. But as they say, the most sustainable material is the one you didn't buy. It is always good to use the materials that we already have available #NoNewMaterials.
